These 4 star apartments in the prestigious Morningside area of Edinburgh are recently refurbished 2 and 3 bedroomed homes in a modern block internally decorated in quite different themes. It is a very quiet area, yet only 2 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. There is parking for one car per apartment. All of the bedrooms have built-in cupboards.

Kintail apartment sleeps 6. It has 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom with adult-sized bunk beds. 1st floor. Kintail apt. has separate bathroom and wc rooms.
Heanish apartment sleeps 5. It has 1 double bedroom and 1 triple bedroom
- the triple bedroom has 1 double bed and one extra long single bed. 2cnd floor.
Avernish apartment sleeps 5. It has 1 king sized double bed and 1 triple bedroom
- the triple bedroom has 1 double bed and one single bed. In this apt. the double bed can convert to 2 twin beds Grd/mezz floor.

Luxury Eskbank apartment sleeps 5-6Dining for 8.  3 ensuite shower rooms.

The dining/sitting rooms have views over Morningside Park, quality furniture and carpeting. The kitchens are also recently refurbished and have all the modern conveniences you would expect of STB 4 star quality assessed holiday apartments. There are bathrooms with shower above.

The refurbishment of this Edinburgh apartment was interior design driven with an overall "Caledonian and Aztec Theme". It has two double bedrooms and a twin room with adult bunk beds (there is also a Z-bed for a seventh person). Each bedroom has built in cupboards. There is an L shaped lounge/dining room (dining table to seat six) with an attractive view to Morningside park. It has 2 new sofas and a new reclining armchair (to seat 6). It is carpeted in deep pile Scotch Heavy Duty Wool carpets with a beautiful Malaysian wool rug in the lounge area and has CTV and a video recorder. The kitchen has all the equipment required of a Scottish Tourist Board 4 star holiday flat. The bathroom was also completely renewed recently and there is a separate WC room. There is an autumn winter separate charge for heat/hw other energy is by 1 coin meter. Linen is provided free but there is a surcharge for towels.

These two Edinburgh self-catering apartments were refurbished with "Edinburgh Elegance with discrete tartan touches" as a design theme. They have a large lounge/diner with gallery windows to east and west, elegant cornices and halogen pelmet box downlighters to give an upmarket modern lighting effect. There is a lounge suite and a dining table, both to suit 5 persons. Each apartment has one triple bedroom (zip and link twin/double bed and cabin bed) and one double bedroom. Both have built in wardrobes and halogen bed downlights. The kitchen sunny and modern and equipped to STB 4 star standards. It includes washing machine, electric cooker, dish washer, microwave and all the kitchen equipment listed in the STB 4 star quality criteria list.

Each Edinburgh vacation rental apartment has a bathroom with shower above bath, WC and WHB. The heating is by electric white meter. There is a coin meter in both of the apartments, Linen is provided free of charge however there is surcharge for towels. This Edinburgh accommodation has ample private parking. Luxury Eskbank Apartment - sleeps 5-6

The Eskbank Apartment was demolished and completely rebuilt in 2004 to suit those seeking luxury standards. It now has "Wow" quality. The apt. sleeps 5-6 and has 4 ensuite rooms to include 3 showers - 4 wc's - 1 bidet - very large solid oak floored kitchen with dining table for 8 ( or 10 when extended), the kitchen is equipped to suit the really discerning person looking for home from home standards for cooking, and for washing and drying clothes. The high insulation standards together with the double glazing and large gas Vaillant Combi Boiler ensure fabulous showers and central heating. It is a very warm apartment and has victorian plaster cornices in the bedrooms, hall and lounge. The lounge also has solid oak flooring, and 2 French Windows overlooking the croquet lawn at Rathan House - an 1850's mansion set in its own grounds. If you want to enjoy a mansion house vacation rental holiday - the Eskbank apartment certainly can provide it. Edinburgh Central is 18 mins by car - 22 mins by bus.

Set in the Eskbank & Newbattle Abbey leafy conservation area near Dalkeith and Bonnyrigg , you would find a 24 hr large supermarket within 600metres and 5 excellent restaurants even closer. It does offer an excellent base for those seeking a superior base prior to a Scottish Castle Wedding at Dalhousie Castle, Melville Castle, Oxenfoord Castle or Borthwick castle.

Parents of Wisconsin students at Dalkeith Palace will also find this to be an excellent family home from home.
